Thank you to the family at St. John the Evangelist, Penge, for a great morning - and lunch! The children (in their crazy hats, above) reminded us of the growth of the church in Nepal, out of suffering, as well a their current sending of mission workers to so many other countries. Kids, I hope you like your picture!
I serve as International Director of
Faith2Share (www.faith2share.net) an international network of Christian mission agencies. I am also the Lausanne Movement Facilitator for Orthodox-Evangelical Relations (www.loimission.net).
My real passion in life, besides mountains and Georgian food, is watching what happens when people get connected with God in so many surprising and beautiful ways. That's what took me into leading a local church in Newcastle, UK and then into leadership with the Church Mission Society (CMS) for twenty years.
Now I'm paddling in new waters - discovering what happens when you mix cultures, Christian traditions, and all sorts of personalities together in mission. (Is it chemistry or cookery?) Faith2Share is about being connected - to each other, to people who find themselves attracted to Jesus, and connected to God's future.
That's the 'Wow' factor.
